Gamundi was founded as a family business in Tegucigalpa, Honduras in 1957. Among the first clients: the US Embassy in Honduras<\/strong>. FIDI \u2014 the F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Internationale des D\u00e9m\u00e9nageurs Internationaux \u2014 established the FAIM standard: the most rigorous quality certification in the moving industry. It requires independent third-party audits of every aspect of a company’s operations: packing standards, staff training, claims handling, insurance requirements, financial stability, and customer service.<\/p>\n

Fewer than 300 companies in the world hold FAIM accreditation. Gamundi is the only one in Honduras.<\/strong><\/p>\n
